Like many counselors, I have learned firsthand that therapy helps to process our own issues and offer support during overwhelming times. I hold a great deal of gratitude for the counselors who have supported me during challenging life events when I felt isolated and confused. It is my intention to provide such support in a safe and accepting environment and I am extremely honored and touched to have the opportunity to travel alongside those who continue towards a path of healing and well-being.
I can help you through challenging times and I am not afraid of exploring BIG feelings. I will work collaboratively with you as you gain a deeper understanding through self-study and I will reflect back to you your courage, strength, gifts and unique insight.
I work well with people of all backgrounds and life circumstances who struggle with limiting self-beliefs, conditions associated with anxiety and depression, and those who seek to relate more effectively. Clients have described me as non-judgmental, challenging yet compassionate, affirming and creative.
My approach resonates with people who seek to integrate mind and body. My therapeutic experience stems from diverse relationship-based, somatic and holistic models such as Hakomi Mindfulness Body-Centered, Somatic Psychotherapy http://www.hakomiinstitute.com/
